The people of Buenos Aires like to think they are very cultured lot, and in truth, they have an awful lot of interesting museums to back up that claim. From historical museums paying tribute to important figures likes Evita and Carlos Gardel, to art museums covering a wide range of styles, there is something for everyone.

And don’t forget the local cultural centers. Often similar to museums, usually with free entry and rotating exhibits, there are many spread across Buenos Aires, usually named after the neighborhood they are in, but also covering different themes, such as the Borges cultural center.
